Happy Chinese New Year!

I've been cooped up at home for the past two days of this festive season due to some family issues. My closer friends will know :)

I haven't went visiting for the past two days so I'll be looking forward to a visiting session soon! Hopefully visitings to my closer friends! I must see a Chinese soul infront of my eyes that I can recognize before I go crazy~

Gf's in Malaysia, I've been at home doing nothing but rotting. Tried composing but all I came up was 25 bars of music. So I went on to YouTube stuffs, practice guitar and even got the time to record a video with Shawal.

My internship starts on 1st April and I am most probably going to shave my head before I go for internship. 4 or 6 months of don't-know-what work yet because I got posted and not by my choice.

Ok I don't know what else to talk about because my life seems boring now.

To my friends, I hope we meet soon for visitings! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!

Happy New Year everyone!

Had a great 2010, well shouldn't say much here. If you haven't read my 2010's summary please read it first before you continue :)

My new year was great! Spending the time with my band members on stage and also sharing the counting down to 2011 experience with the whole of Woodlands Community. Well, there were some important MPs there as well. The whole concert was a blast and it was the most exhausting concert I've done so far. The crowd was insane and we just couldn't stop returning the energy back. It's like a reflection of energy throughout the whole show. How much the crowd gave us we gave them back. Such a wonderful experience and I wanna do that again this year!

Well, after many sleepless nights due to the post-effect from countdown show, my band's invited for a wedding gig at St.Regis Singapore. The hotel was very beautifully decorated and it is a 6 or 7 star hotel. Another wonderful experience for us to be part of a amazing journey for Dendy and Shin. We had a great time performing there and also made some contacts!

It's just too bad we didn't have a professional photographer to photograph our nice set at St.Regis. Maybe next time we'll ask someone to help us document.

My band is playing for NTUC's talk show coming Wednesday, 19th January 2011. We might be playing for WWF soon but details are still pending. A lot of shows are coming up so to keep track please like our facebook page and we'll update you with the latest news on our upcoming shows.

Alright enough with my band stuffs. School! Let's talk about school!

One word: Stress.

Everyone is stressed up about the Tests that came up in this two weeks. There are a lot of assignments to be done and lots of revision to be done. For me, I've been trying to breeze through this test but the thing is, every test didn't came out as what I was expecting it to be. So I have to face the music when my results are published!

Well, the fun thing about school is that I get to do what I like. Sound recording, music composition and recording studio fundamentals! So many hands on classes really made learning much easier. All the thinking processes allowed us to think out of the box and react to situations instantly.One of the things we did was to use Khair's beanie as a windshield for Alex's Q3HD recorder. It worked magic!

Well, I got myself a pair of Shure SRH440 Studio Monitoring Headphones and I must really say, it's definitely worth more than the price! I bought it at $169.00 and it's definitely sounding like a pair $200+ headphones.

With that pair of headphones, I went on to experiment some recordings done in my room. I was too bored that I went to test it with my Macbook's iSight Camera and recorded a guitar track simultaneously through my Presonus Firebox into my Mac's iMovie'11. The result turned out to be okay. Check it out here!

So recently I got a bit free due to the decrease in amount of other works that I need to do before and I've got the time to roam around my neighborhood! Went to check out the sports complex beside the reservoir area and I was quite amazed by the number of facilities and venues they provide down there. 8 Badminton Courts. 1 Inline Skating Space, 3 Dance Studios, 1 Gym, 1 Olympic Sized Swimming Pool, Street Soccer Court, Basketball Court and many activities room which I can't remember. And surprisingly, I saw Jocelyn working there! Jocelyn was previously working at TRCC. Well, I kinda like this free time feeling but I want to be busy real soon!

Time grew an extra pair of wings these days, or perhaps should I say for the whole of 2010.

Indeed, time passes very fast when you're enjoying what you're doing and I had the privilege to experience it first-hand for the past 2 years in Republic Polytechnic. Things had changed so much once I stepped into Polytechnic. Friends, responsibilities, goals, relationships and academic pretty much made lots of sense to me. So there I've learnt how to prioritize my work and attempted balancing mylife, which I failed.

Before 2010, I thought that the road next year would be bumpy and unexpected for me.

True enough, my intuitions didn't fail me.

From a simple marketing personnel in Replug IG I'm suddenly promoted to the Vice President due to some internal issues among the new committee. From there onwards, I had to learn things fast and juggle all my work along with my academic studies together. Being a Vice President was the greatest challenge for my life at the point of time.

Yes, Replug's audition didn't went that well honestly. But it's an important lesson that we learnt and thankfully we had two days of auditions. Whatever mistakes we made in the first day was reflected and not repeated on the second day. That's how fast I had to plan and learn stuffs. Well, we managed to scrap past in the end.

And there was Arts Platter, the first time in my life planning for an event to happen for my members in the group. Nobody had any idea what's to be expected and coming up with a theme is definitely challenging. I tho

ught about Mezzoforte, a concept which links the dynamics of two different shows together. Mezzo meant moderately and forte meant loud. Since Arts Platter was a Pre-IGNITE! showcase, it has to be something similar to the festival itself but a little bit toned down. Since the festival is quite loudtoo, I've decided that our show should be loud enough to be just below the festival's dynamic notch. Hence the name "Mezzoforte".

Bumpy, very bumpy.

Well of course, the rest of the members would be practicing really hard for this show and as a committee member, I cannot let them down as my job was toensure that everything runs smoothly on the day itself. It was alright but we had a few issues here and there, no problem. This marks the first of my many shows that I handled and managed throughout the year.

I had to balance between academic studies, Replug IG, relationship and of course my own band "DiverseAttentions". Somethings had to be compromised along the way to make room for the others to proceed. Time isn't on my side most of the time and it is really challenging for me to keep my motivation level up and pushing myself forward every time.

IGNITE! 2010 came and I was already planning to go for the event itself without playing for it. I thought that we weren't fit to play on that big stage with all the massive high-end sound systems and musical instruments. But just about few days before the actual show, I had to step in for Warren due to some personal troubles he was dealing with at that time. I had to learn all 3 songs within a span of 2 - 3 days and really, I

have to thank all the wonderful musicians that I've worked with for IGNTIE! 2010 for providing me with all the understanding that they can as they know I'm struggling with all the songs.

Being part of IGNITE! Music Festival 2010 was really a big achievement in my life as a musician so far. It was totally unexpected for me to perform in such a big event.

After IGNITE! Music Festival comes the preparations for Replug's annual concert. Still quite "noob" at planning a big scale event, the committee had to really drain our own precious time and energy just to make the event run smoothly. But well, it came out fine :)

Reflections arts festival had always motivated me to push myself further as a performer. Ever since last year's reflections, I've told myself that I really want to be contributing as much as I can for art. Just a simple sentence I told myself jokingly landed me in 4 shows in Reflections 2010. I'm part of the pre-show and the opening launch for the festival this year which I'm really happy about because I get to perform with other artists in CREATE Republic as well.

Also, I've landed myself in "Just Jazz with Jeremy Monteiro" representing Republic Polytechnic playing in a jazz concert. Well, that was really tough! Nevertheless it's a whole new experience for me as I really stepped out of my comfort zone and try to do things that I've never done before. You see, RP and TRCC really provides a good and solid platform for us to showcase our talents and also to challenge ourselves further.

I can say that I've really improved as a performer in TRCC and when I'm out of RP doing shows, stage presence became a second nature to me. I learnt to have fun on stage and that's the most important thing that I look forward to every time I perform.

All these efforts put into the IG and my academics helped me bagged a Flame Award back home. I'm really thankful for all those people who supported me throughout the year. Well, even though sometimes I don't think I'm appreciated or acknowledge but who cares, at the end of the day, as long as the show goes on, I'm contented.

And now, I've just finished composing for Jeremy's Final Year Project video showcasing Reflections. It was a challenge for me to come up with a composition in less than a week and I was spending almost every night getting the song recorded down. I've named the piece "Connecting Horizons". The name simply derived from an understanding of Confluence from my perception. I want my music to inspire others as much as others have inspired me.

Throughout this year, I've faced with a lot of challenges and difficult situations. Thankfully, I have my friends, band mates and of course my loved ones always being there for me giving countless support and motivation. I can say that I'm really lucky to be blessed by such wonderful people around me and honestly, they inspire me more than what a rockstar can inspire.

Of course, I have my one and only love. She never fail to make me smile just in my heart irregardless of how tired I was on my expressions. I'm always happy when I'm around her and I'm really sorry for the fact that I'm not spending much time with you but I really do treasure all the little moments we have together. I don't know what my life would be without this girl in my life right now.

So 2010 was a good one. What to expect for 2011? Well, pretty much a bumpy road trip with a hell lot of unexpected events :) Oh, there's internship so wish me luck!

It's December again, the month where we should be really relaxing while looking forward to a better new year.

Well, at least I should be relaxed.

Sometimes life doesn't turn out the way you expected it to be. For instance, I thought after Reflections 2010 I'm able to get myself some good rest and catch up with work and life. I'm wrong.

Good news is, I'm taking more external show with my band, Diverse Attentions, this December onwards. I can't imagine how fast the shows just come to us. One by one, sooner or later, we will all be counting down with one another (probably on stage) during 31st December 2010 when we are performing.

Yes, my band and I are performing for a countdown event. (Details not out yet)

Let me update you on our current schedules.

Besides performing with my band, I'm actually engaged by singer-songwriter Arista to session for her upcoming competition at *Scape on the 11th December. Therefore, two shows in a day for two Saturdays. Ain't that cool? I feel like some busy musician wondering around town to perform.

And all of that are just for now.

On top of that, there are school works and assignments, work and of course my own social (private) life.

I'm looking to get a project done for Replug IG by next year's SLA Fiesta. I really hope I can squeeze in time for this. Planning to record some of our very own bands and arrangements. Also, it could help me with my portfolio development.

So much for my "career" now.

Beside all the hectic life that I'm in right now, I really wish to spend time with my loved ones. Especially my mother and my girlfriend. I really want to feel relaxed again and I can promise you that they can make me feel that way. Sadly, I won't get to countdown with them and by the time I reach home, I'll probably stink and shagged.

Really, this year has been a great year. All those small little good and bad experiences, they're all memorable and I can't believed how time really flew. I still remember this year's Open house, SLA Fiesta, Arts Platter, Pre-Ignite, Ignite, Woodlands Concert, National Day, Youth Olympic Games, Reflections 2010. So many of them... I had either performed or managed the talents for these shows. Oh, how memorable.

I'm actually feeling good now especially in this weather right now. Cooling, quiet when it's just me and my laptop at this hour, 12.58am in the morning. Yes, I have class at 8am later but I'm pretty much used to the little hours of sleep that I had over the weeks/months. Classes are getting more and more demanding and I'll just have to buck up in order to pull through this semester.

Maybe I'll look forward to my internship next April. That could be another phase of my life, well at least in polytechnic life.

I just had this sudden urge to blog. I figured that this might just be the only place for me to let go in peace. I would normally go to my piano or guitar and just play chords for a few hours before I feel relaxed or I would probably watch 2 or 3 movies just by myself in order to relax.

I really love alone time. It's so peaceful, so quiet and so beautiful. Maybe silence is the best sound for me right now. All the huntings for the right tone really burns out a lot of cash.

Reflections 2010 is coming up and I think I'm part of the opening act. Replug's concert is also coming up and I hope that the preview + run tomorrow will be great. I really pinned a hell lot of hope in this new batch. They never fail to inspire me day after day.

So yes please come to our concert if you can. I suggest you should because there're limited seats available and it's only for one night. If you all want to come down and chill with acoustic music, I suggest you should check us out.

The finals for National Environment Agency Eco-Music Challenge 2010 is also just around the corner. We are still squeezing time in for practice. I hope we can win something. First time we are writing songs for NEA. Cheesy~

Anyway I miss jamming with them. We're all so busy.

Work preparations are also coming up and I'm still trying to do something about it. Everyone's so busy right now and I hope we can really focus on what we're doing after Reflections.

I think Reflections really took us a lot of time. Somehow, it's worth it.

At the end of the day, I always think of my dearest and really envy how understanding she is. Nowadays we're all so busy we barely have the chance to meet. Luckily I could still took a day off just to celebrate her birthday.

Really nice. Marina Bay Sands Skypark. Good view, nice place and comfortable. I should really save up for a DSLR or something to take some really nice photos of places. I'm not into the kind that takes picture for people. I'm more to beautiful moments.

Oh speaking about beautiful moments, I really want to congratulate my long-time brother/partner-in-crime for topping his class for photography module. Apparently his theme was "Moments" and we actually went for a Sunrise shot together with my girlfriend. What I know from him was that he got an "A" for his project and his facilitator commented that he could actually see that we're in love. Not only did he managed to capture "Precious Moments" but he also captured the essence of us. And these photos got him a job which starts on the 20th of October! Congrats bro if you're reading this!

I hope by the end of the year I could really relax and focus on what I want to do in my future. However, looking at the packed schedules, I don't think time will permit.

All these packed schedules really made me treasure alone time. For instance typing this blog entry on my Mac while listening to no human but crickets, wall fan, cars and the sound of my fingers typing. This is the kind of moments I enjoy pretty much all by myself.

Let's hope that I can really find a time to isolate myself from this never-ending and demanding world.

Busy life made time travel a million times faster than a bullet train. Well, at least I'm glad that I'm doing what I love. I hope to do this very much for my future.

Satisfaction achieved performances after performances. All these little experiences made us who we are today and sure will make us better tomorrow. I hope to have all these kind of exposures this year and the coming years to improve on my skills.

Challenges are faced everyday and they will try to drag you down as much as possible. The only thing that drives me is the sweet fruit that ripens after all the hard work had been done. Life to me now is like completing a million hurdles in one shot, you'll never be able to get to the end without tripping over some hurdles.

Little things we seldom ignore because we tend to look at the big picture first before we try to solve something. As little as they could be, sometimes, these are really the things that we wanted so much in life. The memories, the laughter, the cheers, the tears, the screaming, etc...

As days goes by and we start to mature, we seldom stop to think where are we now in life. Certain times you keep asking yourself "why am I doing this?" or you might think that you are just wasting your time. All I can say is that, results are not a big picture by itself. Results are made up of small things you picked up day by day in life.

Don't panic and stress yourself. Because a better day awaits you after a long cold night.

Hey people! I'm back !
I had a rather crazy week in school man.

The crazy week is all about music! Which is love love loved!
Had 3 rehearsals for National Day Observance Ceremony, which were good. At least it prepared us for the show.
Overall the performance wasn't that bad. I actually had fun on stage! Ha! I didn't felt scared already.
AND the sound of the APX is sooooooooooooo awesome! So orgasmic you know. Oh my, I feel like playing it on stage non-stop!
Such a lovely guitar. Thanks Alex!

Besides practicing for National Day, I am also engaged in 2 different practices.
I would be the guitarist for Khim, Danny and Adam on this Sunday for a gig.
I don't know what gig is it and I think it is held at Singapore Arts Museum.
3pm, if you're free, come on down :)

We'll be playing an acoustic set for each singer.

AND not forgetting the wonderful band I had in Replug, WBS. We had practice for the upcoming Replug MJ Tribute performance!
I'm so in love with the song we're playing. So high! It's a damn crazy song.

Such a busy yet fun week !

It's gonna be August soon....
Left with 4 more weeks with the class. Or 3? Either...
Well, school days really pass fast. . .

Tied up with scheduled practices, previews, rehearsals and performances.
This is great, if I were to minus school work it'll be awesome!
I have to admit, I'm more and more into Acoustic/Unplugged performances now. Oh this shit is cool. It's just so peaceful. The best thing is that, you can hype it up like any rock bands can. Or, you can just play it in peaceful mode! Just a normal plucking style, with the right EQs... oh by the way, my favorite type of sound is a thin sound... something like what a Yamaha APX can produce when plugged in. This kinda sound just turns me on! With good set of strings, I would say, it'll be wonderful. Oh I prefer a set of "10s to "11s... I love thin sounds...

I just ran out of class, well not say run, but I walked out of class with my facilitator staring at me from behind. I do not feel awkward at all, I hated him and no one else love him.

See, the fact is that I'm trying hard to participate in Science class and this idiot just spoil the whole damn thing. He's purposely picking on me. If he wants to fail me for this module, he failed. Because I swear I'm gonna study for the damn UT 3.

So much things I wanna talk about... I can't remember what... but I know now I'm in the library slacking with Rox. . everyone's sick of school. I bet the facilitators too. I just wish I could quickly start my course and perform more.

I miss my darling too. I love her so much. I want her to stay with me. I can go home everyday and see her. The feeling of not seeing her is awkward and I feel something's missing. My motivation pill? You can say that. She's my world, my everything. I need her as much as she needed me. I love the life we're having now. Simple, happy and carefree...

Sometimes I need to de-stress.. play music, come up with something soothing. It's always a challenge to me. Chord progressions. Songs, inspirations, moods, feelings and many more. Times when we need a hand to help us up when we fall. Music baby, it's always music. It has been and always will be.

Music is the cure.

Life is about balance.

Apparently I have not mastered life. It is because right now, I can't seemed to balance my life well enough.

School. Performances. Practices. Relationships.
I find that I do not even have time for myself.

With a shit system in school, it made my life more miserable.
With major performances coming up, practices are even more tensed.
I must increase my level of profession in performing. More practice and practice.

I have not been posting up a lot of stuffs for quite awhile. My apologies.

Well, I've just turned 18 not long ago. Spent my day with my darling, memorable. Love every second of it.

School, as usual, was busy. Everyday doing the same thing. One day I could not stand RP's PBL system anymore I wrote my Reflection Journal in a very very honest form. I actually told my Facilitator my feelings. Eventually, I got a 'B' for the day. Surprising, eh?

Well, that piece of journal is uploaded on my Facebook account, hunt for it if you want.

Seriously, PBL will not work for every single modules in RP. Do you know that, dear Principal?

Oh yah, Alex recovered from his H1N1 quarantine and was back in school. We all misses him and he's the Gentle Giant of the Clique. I must say, I really like his creativity sometimes.

Other than school? Lepak sessions at Esplanade had been equally awesome as well. Did a lot of things together and seriously, Laughter is the best medicine. That's what friends are for? Well, you can say that.

Anyways, heard from a lot of my friends that IGs are resuming next week. Happy for that as RP had finally relaxed the rules a little. Well, it still sucks. Sorry, but, yeah.

I must say, finally we had our first Replug practice after this H1N1 shit. This shit made our first performance cancelled. Well, the good thing is, we are expected to perform this coming Tuesday at the South Agora of the school. So, yes, come on down if you have the time. Replug is an awesome IG.

Something about Replug I must tell you guys. The people in Replug really knows how to choose people from the auditions. They choose people who know what they are doing and why are they there. Why I say this? I am in this Replug Band 'WBS', which consist of two guitarist, one bassman, two vocals and one percussion. These people know what they are doing and are really full of ideas.

We had came up with a lot of different arrangements on just one song. The best thing is that, we tighten it about 80% after we came up with an arrangement we're satisfied with. We change our arrangements for different environment of performance. It had been so fun. They are really versatile people. Musicians. I am very very honoured to be working with you guys.

Coming up soon, I'll most probably be helping Khim and Ruffy cover the song "Lucky" by Jason Mraz. Also, performing during STA's open mic nights with Khair and Steve probably. Oh and I so wanna jam "Gravity" with Alex.

I'm finally going to watch a Musical! "Own time Own target" ! This sunday! Wow. Thanks to Alex, I actually got a discount rate.

Oh and tight schedules again.

Today

Got my new haircut.
Basically I just trimmed it, and cut it short. Except my back which I left it long.
Felt so new, ha!

Met Steve.
He came to my house to record the song "When the lights burn out" by Chris Cendana.
Overall, it's good.
Except that my room isn't sound proof, so can hear a bit of the construction sounds.
Anyway, I kinda love this cover we did.

I still managed to mix it down properly. Ha!

We took 4 hours. But in between, my interface kinda "crash" . Blame my computer. DINOSAUR!

After which we went to Steve's house and baby joined us for Dinner. Ha ! Steve cooked!

First time Steve cooked Vegetarian and it was nice! Ha !

Went out with darling after my piano lesson.
Went to walk walk walk walk walk in town.

Ordered a couple meal :)
But I changed the size of the pizza to a Large.
Imagine me and darling, eating a 12" Pizza.

Anyway, I ate 6 out of 8 slices of the pizza! Ha!
Baby said she was full so I ate all the remaining as I didn't want it to be wasted.

3 Days of REPLUG IG Camp was a hell of an Awesome one!

I feel so blessed being surrounded by people with the same interest as me. Not only do they have the same interest as me, they are also very professional!

One example is the "Harmonizers"
They are very good. They can harmonise on the spot and impromptu.
We got a bunch of good vocalist, guitarist, bassmans and of course, pianist!

AND AND AND!
My band, WBS, which was formed by being picked randomly by Sly, was one of the most awesome bands that I've been into.
Just less than 24 Hours we were given to prepare our own rendition of song and we did it professionally.

We did a mash up of "Beggin" and "Play that funky music". Adding our little twist to it.
For your information, my band has 2 guitarist, 1 bassman, 1 percussionist, 1 vocalist, 1 rapper.
The vocals and raps really sync together very well, in my opinion.
Just less than 24 hours we were able to come up with this song. We won the mini competition in the camp.

My band is performing on the 2nd of July @ TRCC Studio!

Yeah and REPLUG is seriously full of talented people. Not forgetting they are also very crazy. Sitting in big circles and just strumming four chords, people there can sing and sing and think of any song that's related to these four chords. We even made up our own songs.

So basically, I feel so fortunate to be part of the REPLUG Family.

So yesterday night I was at school's website and I found this crap.

I find it funny but if you dont, then too bad ! HA!

And I miss darling so much during the camp.
Every second, every minute, she will always be on my mind.

Well, school's been busy. Really busy... Everyday is presentation. Mad!
The modules I am taking is not even relevant to my course... Imagine me studying Blood. Wow?
How is blood related to my course? Why? Ear bleed because of too much music blasting into my ears? I must know which type of blood suitable for me so that during transfusion I won't die?

Another Racial Riot in Singapore?

Well, I just witnessed a scene during a bus ride on 960. Kinda made me think, ha!

There's a Chinese couple beside me on the bus. They were standing close to each other, well that's normal. Beside them there was an old Indian man.

Here goes...

Suddenly, the Indian man shouted

Indian man : " Eh Babi!"

At this point of time everyone in the bus turned.
No response.

Indian man : " Eh Babi! You think this one bedroom ah? "

Still no response.

Indian man: " You think what? This one your bedroom? Can kiss here kiss there ah ? "

At this point of time, the Chinese couple turned and found out that the man was referring to them.

Indian man : " This one public bus you know ? Knnbcb, can kiss here kiss there?"
Chinese guy: " First of all...."
Indian man: " What ? This one public bus, there are people around. You idiot kiss here think your bedroom! Knnbcb! "
Chinese guy :" Are you educated ? "
Indian man: " Eh you cb don't talk to me like that! You think you very clever ? Can kiss here in the public bus? Eh, this one public bus leh, not your bedroom knnbcb! "

At this point of time I was wondering, is there any laws or rules saying that couples can't kiss or hug each other while standing during a public bus ride ? Weird.

Chinese guy: " Ok ok, please be more civilised, I don't wanna be angry."
Indian man: " What ? This one is public bus! You think this one your mum? This one your father? This one your sister ? Your house ah ? Can kiss here ah ? "
Chinese lady: " Please mind your own business."
Indian man:" You shut up lah.."
Chinese lady: " You then shut up"
Chinese guy: " Okay okay, shhh shhh please be more civilised."
Indian man: "Stupid babi, knnbcb! "

So this, I thought, was the end .
So the Indian man found a seat and settle himself.
The Chinese couple went to stand beside his seat. During that period, he keep saying the word " Uncivilised " loudly.
Finally the man pressed the bell, when he wanna get down, the Chinese guy kinda blocked him.

Indian man: " Eh what ? Cannot move ah ?"
Chinese guy: " I'm also going down what..."

Then somewhere in the middle of the bus there was a middle-aged Indian lady.

Indian lady: " Excuse me, can you please let the man go ? Don't try to be funny here ah.."
Chinese lady: " please mind your own business... "
Indian man: "Eh you shut up lah.."
Chinese lady: " You shut up...!"
Indian man: " You want me call police ah ? "
Chinese lady:" What ? I also can call.."

Then I don't know why, the Indian man went to the exit there and stops there. The Chinese couple was behind him. But the Indian man didn't move.
The Chinese couple used another exit and when they get down,

Chinese guy: " Eh? Press bell already don't want go down ah ? Uncivilized.."
Door closes...
Indian man:" (Says dog in Tamil) "

Wow..
The Chinese couple are from China..
Yes I know there're alot of Foreign Talent in Singapore... But are we hating them this much ?
Throughout the conversation nobody actually helped the Chinese couple. And one lady actually helped the Indian man. Funny isn't it ?

I keep asking myself, " Is there another racial riot in Singapore that's gonna start again ? "

hmmm... no one knows :)

Well, I'm currently at Changi Airport terminal one Arrival hall waiting for my dad.

Helped my friends buy...
Didn't got my mousepad till today!

Oh and I bought bag too ! Just a normal Adidas sling bag and I got darling one too :) She's happy with it ! Ha!

Hey people !

Went to RP's enrollment exercise yesterday in the morning !
Can't believe it, I reach there around 9.05am and already queuing so far behind Station 1!
Total time taken for this exercise was around 2 and a half hours.

Yeah, I bought a new laptop!
Acer Aspire 4937G at $1701.30 !
Kinda cool laptop but kinda hate the screen. Too short and wide....
Anyways, RP installed a lot of crap inside my lappy and made it lag.
20+ GBs worth of crap ! WOW!

I like this keyboard... so nice to type. Makes me wanna type and type. Ha!
Oh yeah I hate Windows Vista also. So troublesome... Prefer Windows XP !!!

Hi people, sorry for not updating my blog! Was too lazy plus didn't wanna update.
The two pictures above are taken in March 2008. Group of friends went to Mandai Zoo :) I love that man-made waterfall. Soooooo I don't know. Ha! It's just nice !

Work and work and work. That's one thing that can keep me occupied for this holiday. I just wanna get into Music course and be a nerd and spend my time studying and studying and studying. I wanna get into a university. If I can't go overseas then I'm aiming for NTU's Faculty of Arts.

And above all that, I miss baby so much. She's going back to Malaysia during Chinese New Year. I can't see her for awhile... sad.
But it's okay, time flies! ! !

Jamming today was awesome, the feeling of shouting your lungs out in the studio, jumping around with your guitar, laughing at each other because of something stupid they've done and jamming songs together is back !

We did our originals today, which is still alright, we did manage to roughly scratch surfaces of both originals.
Did our old covers which Hafiz had already forgotten the lyrics. But, yeah still a fun session.
We're left with 6 more originals man. Come to think of it, it's alot. We still haven perfected these two songs yet and thinking of 6 more? HA! Motivation ? Well, kinda.

This lady here beside me in the photo, I seriously love her alot. Why ? She's the one that motivates my everyday, my every move and my every breath.
I really cannot live without her.
And from the day I'm with her, I told myself :

Hey people !
Yea, it's been a long time since I blogged.
I was so eager to sell my pedals and stuffs for Money..
I'm so hard on money now...

Kinda difficult to make money nowadays with the economic recession.
Well, the good news is, I sold 2 pedals which totaled up to $135.00.. but the bad news is I spend $110.00 for the shirts that I liked at Man Studio. So, in the end, I'm left with $15.00...

Alright, here's another good news, I received my pay of $320.00 for Sitex!
So after I deposit into my bank, the feeling of money increasing in my bank is so indescribable.
It's like motivation pill or something to get me want to increase it again...
Another motivation pill I got is the Good Progress Award that had been awarded to me... Well, surprising isn't it ? I got the Good Progress Award, I can't believe it .
I was suppose to know it by end of October, and apparently I didn't check the notice board. Ha!

So it was a cheque of $150.00 and yeah, that feels good when I found out that it had been transferred into my account !

The next thing is that there'll be $200.00 from my mother to me. I helped her buy some things with $200.00 she asked me to , and she's returning it to me. So, another UP for my account !

The final thing is that, I GOT A JOB! Finally ! The pay's good and short period of time !!

Finally my dream's gonna come true !
Like what I've seen somewhere around here before,

Really motivates me and it's working now !

Hello !

Today's outing with Darling :)
She came to my house today and met my mum. She was sooo nervous until she can't open her mouth to talk . Ha ! So cute!
Headed down to Causeway Point to catch 'Bolt' ! Seriously, it is a really marvelous show ! Exciting, cute and really funny ! I love the hamster, so "in-his-own-world" type. Bolt is really cute !

Went with darling to dye her hair after movie at "Jantzen". The guy seriously knows how to promote his stuffs. He talked darling into highlighting her hair, which she did, and was not satisfied by the result. But her hair did change, not too obvious though, like mine.

Went to slack after that and the "Night-market" seemed like a "Dead market". Nobody is there, so quiet.

We took pictures today with darling's new phone, W595 :) But pictures still with her and she can't use the computer now 'cuz her uncle's using. So I'll just wait then, meanwhile, I'll go practice some songs for tomorrow's jamming with "Sweet Faber" (band's name).

The feeling is, shit. Alright, no work, no outings and no dates with dear.

2 whole days at home is already killing me.

Hey people ! I'm back from SITEX !
Really sucked. I'm sorry but I'm still trying to stay optimistic. But the show really sucks man.
Even though there's lots of opportunities out there for commission making, our location really sucked.
I still managed to earn $320.00 for 4 days. .

It's really tiring, not like any other jobs which can slack. But because this job's basic pay is really low, $30 per day, I have to work hard. Sell computers. Yeah, Ao Cheng's selling computers! I sucked at computers already man and how do you expect me to sell it ?!? Well, exposure and experience. If you dare to try, you won't cry. Huh? What theory is that? It's just the experience! Ha!

Oh, my computer broke down just the first day of work. I thought of coming online but no, I can't. But it's fixed now, thanks to the "Computer God". So pro...

I'm so sorry for not updating my blog for quite awhile.
Well, I'm kinda lazy and HOLIDAYS now don't really feel like holidays.

First thing is that I didn't have my piano lesson 'cuz it's always being pushed forward!
AND I had already paid $205.00 to just so called "BOOK" a place so that I will have lesson straight after my 'O' Levels. Ya, bullshit that is. Lessons were being pushed forward 4 times and even the refund days had been pushed forward too. SCAMMED ! Damn, I hate this.

On a lighter note, I've been addicted to gaming, again. But now is the right time. Ha! Played Red Alert 3 nowadays and yeah it's really fun. Time passed real fast. One campaign took me almost 6 hours to complete. And darling's at work, so can't contact her for a long time.

Oh I guess I had to learn piano by myself. I so freaking hate this. NO PIANO LESSONS!?! On holidays ? Must be kidding. But hell yeah, it's true.

I just had my computer changed from Windows Vista to Windows XP !
I thought it was all those Vista's bugs that's giving me problems. But, even after I installed XP, my graphic card still didn't work. Thanks to Hao Yi, he fixed my computer in 7 hours ! From 8pm till 3am ! THANK YOU !
Still lack of a few things though. .

My piano lesson had been cancelled again ! I'm taking refund this Sunday :) And I'm so gonna find another teacher who's more reliable.

Outing

Went to the gym in the late morning. Did some workouts and yeah, I felt more energetic after gym visits!
Headed town in the afternoon and actually wanted to find jobs. In the end, Joshua's uncle is not in Singapore. So, time wasted I guess . Headed for a drink at Starbucks and then went to Bukit Timah.

Stress-free days ahead!

Headed down to collect my Fender after lunch today. It's in perfect condition. The feeling of my guitar is back ! It's like the first time I hold the guitar and play. The sound, the feeling, the texture, the strings, the thickness, the knobs, the tremelo and the touch just made me wanna grab that guitar and go home. Now, the feeling's back ! I played it and I fell in love with it once again. The tone, my effects pedals and the sound of the melodious rhythms I had played. It just feels so good =)
Friday Jamming :) Trying out new songs, brushing up techniques and the band's chemistry. Wanna get high again and really get the feel of old times.

I'm slowly learning sound engineering stuffs. Step by step.
There's alot to learn and alot of new things to try. I wanna do it, I wanna learn the art of Music.

Oh and I miss Darling as much as she does
We'll meet up soon !
